Christos Perivolakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Voutsas in the 16th minute of play. MICE F.C.'s Christos Perivolakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Voutsas in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Dimitris Skondras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, rock's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Hai Chong came free, but Luis Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Perivolakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Olof Löfkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half MICE F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Panos Kavaliaratos's late challenge caught a rock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
