In the 9th minute of the match RODOS F.C. got a corner. THUNDER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. RODOS F.C.'s 龚杰迪 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vassilis Kakkos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vassilis Kakkos came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by RODOS F.C.'s 龚杰迪. But to his dismay, 龚杰迪 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After taking down the ball on RODOS F.C.'s corner Hillar Vent fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vassilis Kakkos quite easily take care of the ball. When Iordache Frumușanu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THUNDER FC's protests and gave Iordache Frumușanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes THUNDER FC got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Frumușanu. Vassilis Kakkos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakis Traganitis in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, THUNDER FC's Rab Cura threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Pinos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vassilis Kakkos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Traganitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcin Wawro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Kakkos having to interfere. When RODOS F.C.'s Marcin Wawro in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Pinos in the 38th minute of play forced RODOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Rab Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match RODOS F.C. got a corner. THUNDER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hillar Vent ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hillar Vent made a great header on RODOS F.C.'s corner, it was just that THUNDER FC's Vassilis Kakkos managed to reach the ball for a save. Reynaldo Pinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rab Cura made a huge save. After the first half RODOS F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcin Wawro made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Pinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rab Cura having to interfere. Gilberto Funes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Pinos came free, but Rab Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Reynaldo Pinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rab Cura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, THUNDER FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Kakkos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcin Wawro. Vassilis Kakkos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Wawro in the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Roberto Mouzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THUNDER FC and the RODOS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, THUNDER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Mouzo to maneuver through the defense. RODOS F.C. made a substitution. Petros Meimarakis replaced Dimitris Venieris. After 73 played minutes THUNDER FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mouzo. RODOS F.C.'s 龚杰迪 got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Giannis Tsigas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Traganitis in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vassilis Kakkos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gilberto Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rab Cura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iakovos Karagiannopoulos in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Marcin Wawro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vassilis Kakkos, 0-2.
