Kyriakos Romanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilemachos Balodimos in the 4th minute of play. Sven Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miltos Kastanis having to interfere. Miltos Kastanis was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Kleon Miriounis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kleon Miriounis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Markos Santamouris's late challenge caught a ntemis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markos Santamouris helped the player get up and apologised. Kleon Miriounis scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miltos Kastanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Tilemachos Balodimos made a precise shot to the right of Kyriakos Romanidis. ntemis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Panos Kazatzis fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argonautes Irakliou's protests and gave Panos Kazatzis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Argonautes Irakliou getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Panos Kazatzis hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Argonautes Irakliou got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Komaitis. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Kyriakos Romanidis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd minute, Abdulvahit Muhteşem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nikos Papafotakis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Argonautes Irakliou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Papafotakis couldn't finish the play. Miltos Kastanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleon Miriounis in the 56th minute of play. ntemis's Kyriakos Romanidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save ntemis from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Venancio Mino notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Argonautes Irakliou's Miltos Kastanis. Miltos Kastanis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kyriakos Romanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilemachos Balodimos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 72nd minute Venancio Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Kastanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argonautes Irakliou's Markos Santamouris got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, one of ntemis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ntemis. Nikos Papafotakis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Miltos Kastanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleon Miriounis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ntemis's zone, Tilemachos Balodimos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Romanidis came out of the goal and Tilemachos Balodimos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Argonautes Irakliou's Panos Kazatzis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Panos Kazatzis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Argonautes Irakliou protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Panos Kazatzis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 played minutes Argonautes Irakliou got a freekick which was hit by Panos Kazatzis. The audience was convinced that Sven Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miltos Kastanis was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Ahlstedt in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miltos Kastanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tilemachos Balodimos in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyriakos Romanidis saved ntemis from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Argonautes Irakliou's Notis Klitorakis got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ntemis had played much better football throughout.
