The referee ignored Amfithea Hotspur's protests and gave Markos Miroforidis a yellow card for diving instead. Markos Miroforidis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Isidoros Baskakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 13th minute of the match. Thomas Tritsonis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Etoliko CF's goalie prevented a goal. Markos Miroforidis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Etoliko CF's goalkeeper Isidoros Baskakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Etoliko CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konstantinos Psiloglou was slow to take the kick. During this time Amfithea Hotspur's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Konstantinos Psiloglou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Etoliko CF's Isidoros Baskakis did a great save. In the 22nd minute Konstantinos Psiloglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoros Baskakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Amfithea Hotspur. Konstantinos Psiloglou stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isidoros Baskakis. 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Real Etoliko CF's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Psiloglou came free, but Isidoros Baskakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Konstantinos Psiloglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoros Baskakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Real Etoliko CF's corner Lazaros Katelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valerios Paboulis quite easily take care of the ball. Real Etoliko CF's Demis Salmatanis suffered a fractured collar bone after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Tritsonis to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Real Etoliko CF's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Psiloglou came free, but Isidoros Baskakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Konstantinos Psiloglou made a precise shot to the right of Isidoros Baskakis. Real Etoliko CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Paris Stilianopoulos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 60th minute of play forced Real Etoliko CF's goalkeeper Isidoros Baskakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Tritsonis in the 63rd minute of play. Valerios Paboulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Tritsonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Isidoros Baskakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konstantinos Psiloglou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Amfithea Hotspur's Charilaos Dimitrakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidoros Baskakis. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Etoliko CF's goalkeeper Isidoros Baskakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Thomas Tritsonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valerios Paboulis. Amfithea Hotspur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Tritsonis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Real Etoliko CF's zone, Konstantinos Psiloglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoros Baskakis came out of the goal and Konstantinos Psiloglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Etoliko CF's Isidoros Baskakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Real Etoliko CF from getting a goal against them. Prokopis Labrousis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Amfithea Hotspur getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Konstantinos Psiloglou hit a great ball. With a little luck, Real Etoliko CF's Isidoros Baskakis got control of the ball when Konstantinos Psiloglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute Kyriakos Kyriakakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Amfithea Hotspur left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Etoliko CF.
