When Errikos Tsivilikas fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ael 1964's protests and gave Errikos Tsivilikas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Errikos Tsivilikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aggelos Kakouros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tasos Sikalias. ael 1964's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, AO BEKIANIKA's goalkeeper Tolek Turek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henri Valentič. When Lukasz Skonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AO BEKIANIKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Skonieczny couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colon Chirivoga in the 22nd minute of play forced AO BEKIANIKA's goalkeeper Tolek Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Simos Sobolos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AO BEKIANIKA's Tolek Turek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AO BEKIANIKA from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute ael 1964 were awarded a corner. Babbis Tsouknidas went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, ael 1964's Errikos Tsivilikas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in ael 1964's zone, Iason Kroustallis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tasos Sikalias came out of the goal and Iason Kroustallis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tasos Sikalias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iason Kroustallis in the 55th minute. Iason Kroustallis in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tasos Sikalias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AO BEKIANIKA's Dionysis Adamidis got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Babbis Tsouknidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Colon Chirivoga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ael 1964's supporters crossed their fingers, but Colon Chirivoga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Frantzeskos in the 65th minute of play forced AO BEKIANIKA's goalkeeper Tolek Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Frantzeskos in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Turek saved AO BEKIANIKA from getting behind. Tolek Turek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colon Chirivoga in the 67th minute of the match. Dionysis Adamidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tasos Sikalias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionysis Adamidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the game, Dimitris Frantzeskos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tolek Turek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colon Chirivoga struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tolek Turek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ael 1964. AO BEKIANIKA's Tolek Turek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Frantzeskos in the 80th minute of play. Iason Kroustallis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Tasos Sikalias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th minute, Henri Valentič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitris Frantzeskos took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Turek. Tolek Turek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 90th minute Demis Livaditis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AO BEKIANIKA's Tolek Turek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Frantzeskos in the 91st minute of play. Tolek Turek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demis Livaditis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AO BEKIANIKA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ael 1964.
