The crowd rose to their feet as Original's Lambros Mavros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radu Corocăescu. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Marios Kostis charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marios Kostis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Tsorbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the game, Stelios Giotakis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Maragozis during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Original's Paris Mendrinos was substituted for Stelios Giotakis. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Giorgos Maragozis got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Zlatan Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miltos Tsorbas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatan Messi went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatan Messi in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miltos Tsorbas saved Original from getting behind. In the 46th minute Kerkyra FC were awarded a corner. Erli Haaland went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Theofilos Tripitsidis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The wind increased when Zlatan Messi made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatan Messi in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miltos Tsorbas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Tsorbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltos Tsorbas came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi. But to his dismay, Zlatan Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Original's Miltos Tsorbas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Original from getting a goal against them. Marios Sapounas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Original's Marios Sapounas got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Original's goalkeeper Miltos Tsorbas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatan Messi. Kerkyra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erli Haaland in the 69th minute. The corner ended in Erli Haaland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Original's Miltos Tsorbas did a great save. The audience was convinced that Zlatan Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miltos Tsorbas was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With his leg Miltos Tsorbas managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Zlatan Messi could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Miltos Tsorbas however easily saved by the left post. The Kerkyra FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
