Kleanthis Savouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trifiliakos A.O.. Thanasis Kavoukis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Seletopoulos got free with Kleanthis Savouridis in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kleanthis Savouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Seletopoulos in the 25th minute of the match. Trifiliakos A.O.'s Fotis Briakos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kleanthis Savouridis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Trifiliakos A.O.'s Louis Lazaris got a free kick in the 27th minute. Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Vrotsos in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Thanasis Kavoukis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trifiliakos A.O.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Thanasis Kavoukis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleanthis Savouridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kleanthis Savouridis was a little too slow when Thanasis Kavoukis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. The Trifiliakos A.O. fans cheered their team off the field, for while REMALIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
