Jan Gunnarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Odysseas Lazaroglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK KAVALAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Odysseas Lazaroglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 46th minute of play forced B-PED The Academy's goalkeeper Jan Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half AEK KAVALAS FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Odysseas Lazaroglou got free with Jan Gunnarsson in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Odysseas Lazaroglou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jan Gunnarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, AEK KAVALAS FC's Takis Rodostoglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Gunnarsson. Jan Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. B-PED The Academy's Jan Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save B-PED The Academy from getting a goal against them. Odysseas Lazaroglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jan Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match AEK KAVALAS FC got a corner. B-PED The Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Giurcă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to AEK KAVALAS FC's Odysseas Lazaroglou getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Odysseas Lazaroglou scored 0-9 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Gunnarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matouš Berný made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Otsando Leis. Odysseas Lazaroglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Gunnarsson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Odysseas Lazaroglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Gunnarsson. That made the score 0-10 in the 86 minute of play. Jan Gunnarsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fotis Pegiadis.
