Seating: 1975, VIP seats: 171) Fotis Briakos made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Original's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Briakos came free, but Artur Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Trifiliakos A.O.'s Sakis Evaggellakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Artur Veloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Minas Labiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Sapounas in the 7th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fotis Briakos sped through Original's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Veloso. After having played for 11 minutes, Marios Sapounas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Original's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marios Sapounas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fotis Briakos got free with Artur Veloso in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanasis Kavoukis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Kavoukis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, Original was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Giotakis to maneuver through the defense. When Thanasis Kavoukis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Trifiliakos A.O. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Kavoukis couldn't finish the play. Thanasis Kavoukis might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanasis Kavoukis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th match minute, Trifiliakos A.O. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Tsouloufas to maneuver through the defense. Minas Labiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Sapounas in the 36th minute of the match. Artur Veloso made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fotis Briakos sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstantinos Kladogennis in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Minas Labiris saved Trifiliakos A.O. from getting behind. Konstantinos Kladogennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marios Sapounas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Original's Zinon Charalambakos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Minas Labiris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Original reached it. After a rather tough play, Original's Stelios Giotakis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Original's Artur Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Briakos in the 55th minute of play. Marios Sapounas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Minas Labiris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marios Sapounas ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Trifiliakos A.O.'s Thanasis Kavoukis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Minas Labiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Sapounas in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Stelios Giotakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Original and the Trifiliakos A.O. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Original got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Giotakis. The audience was convinced that Thanasis Kavoukis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Veloso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Trifiliakos A.O.'s zone, Marios Sapounas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minas Labiris came out of the goal and Marios Sapounas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Thanasis Kavoukis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Fotis Briakos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Original's Artur Veloso. Artur Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trifiliakos A.O.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zinon Charalambakos was slow to take the kick. During this time Original's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zinon Charalambakos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris did a great save. Original's Artur Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Briakos in the 73rd minute of play. Artur Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Briakos in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marios Sapounas in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minas Labiris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Fotis Briakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Veloso. Original's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fotis Briakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Thanasis Kavoukis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 89 played minutes Trifiliakos A.O. got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Briakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Lazaris in the 91st minute of play forced Original's goalkeeper Artur Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Original's Stelios Giotakis got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Stelios Giotakis off the ground. Stelios Giotakis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Trifiliakos A.O. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Original for a fine match.
