Dimitris Frantzeskos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 played minutes Original got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Giotakis. Demis Livaditis took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Veloso. Artur Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 16th match minute, ael 1964 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demis Livaditis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ael 1964's Stefanos Tsogas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantinos Kladogennis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Sikalias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Original's Konstantinos Kladogennis in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ael 1964's goalie prevented a goal. Original's Artur Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Original from getting a goal against them. Tasos Sikalias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marios Kostis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Marios Kostis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tasos Sikalias. ael 1964's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marios Kostis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jean-Michel Hajs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artur Veloso. Original's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavros Ntinopoulos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Stavros Ntinopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Demis Livaditis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Sapounas in the 47th minute of play forced ael 1964's goalkeeper Tasos Sikalias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 49 minutes ael 1964's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zinon Charalambakos who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Marios Kostis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Frantzeskos to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Frantzeskos scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demis Livaditis in the 61st minute of play. Dimitris Frantzeskos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Artur Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Mavratos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Veloso. Original's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyriakos Mavratos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 72 minutes into the game, ael 1964's Kyriakos Mavratos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 77th match minute, Original was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Vainderlis to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes, Luciano Vitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ael 1964 and the Original players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Luciano Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Konstantinos Kladogennis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Original's Artur Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Charidis in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Ilias Charidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ael 1964 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 97 minutes into the match, Dimitris Frantzeskos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Veloso. Original's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Frantzeskos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ael 1964 had played much better football throughout.
