The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to KATSIKIA F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marcial Meleon hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Ubaldo Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miltos Kokkinias. The goal made the score 1-1. KATSIKIA F.C.'s Miltos Kokkinias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save KATSIKIA F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ercole De Lucia hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltiadis Alexopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Alexandros Lentakos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Spyros Daskalakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ubaldo Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Miltos Kokkinias made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Andreas Kioubouroglou lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Miltos Kokkinias. KATSIKIA F.C.'s Miltos Kokkinias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimosthenis Fyssas in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Fang Xuan Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Spyros Daskalakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Sakis Mouraitidis got a free kick in the 27th minute. Spyros Daskalakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Meleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Alexandros Lentakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Spyros Daskalakis. Kolopetinitsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Lentakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 36th minute Fang Xuan Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Daskalakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Cangeopol kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kolopetinitsa's Spyros Daskalakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fang Xuan Yang in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kolopetinitsa's Ubaldo Salomon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miltos Kokkinias. That made the score 3-3 after 44 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Fang Xuan Yang made the kick off in the second half. When Kolopetinitsa's Andreas Kioubouroglou in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Fang Xuan Yang took a quick shot and it went in 4-5 without a chance for Spyros Daskalakis to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Alexis Kalogeratos could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Spyros Daskalakis however easily saved by the left post. Spyros Daskalakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Lentakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Dimosthenis Fyssas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miltos Kokkinias was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 67 played minutes KATSIKIA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Costel Cangeopol. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dimosthenis Fyssas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolopetinitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimosthenis Fyssas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miltos Kokkinias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, KATSIKIA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Kioubouroglou came free, but Miltos Kokkinias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miltos Kokkinias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Kioubouroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Evaggelos Siopis hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Marcial Meleon took a quick shot and it went in 4-7 without a chance for Spyros Daskalakis to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Kolopetinitsa defense, Tamás Újváry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spyros Daskalakis. The Kolopetinitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spyros Daskalakis should have stopped the shot. Spyros Daskalakis came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by KATSIKIA F.C.'s Tamás Újváry. But to his dismay, Tamás Újváry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-9.
