With a little luck, YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas got control of the ball when Fotis Melas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 11th minute of play. If Eutichios Panagakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fotis Melas. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Aleksander Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipochσrion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Brzakala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Lalas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Jan-Olof Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Kissas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Avraam Sevastopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Panagiotis Kissas. Lipochσrion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 30th minute of play. YELLOW FC's Jan-Olof Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. YELLOW FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Lipochσrion FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paul Grosso took the corner. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when YELLOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziioannou Sourlis didn't get a good kick on the ball. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save YELLOW FC from getting a goal against them. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Robos in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Fotis Melas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Vlassis Bourekidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When YELLOW FC's Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan-Olof Kämpe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Panagiotis Kissas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Avraam Sevastopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Panagiotis Kissas, 0-4. Avraam Sevastopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Kissas having to interfere. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when YELLOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Grosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Necat Baysal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Lalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necat Baysal in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. YELLOW FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrah Alatay ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lipochσrion FC's corner Emrah Alatay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaggelis Lalas quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Kämpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Melas in the 87th minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. YELLOW FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrah Alatay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Melas in the 91st minute of the match. Thanasis Robos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. YELLOW FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Melas in the 94th minute of play. Paul Grosso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. YELLOW FC played a much better game than Lipochσrion FC and deserved their victory. The Lipochσrion FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
