With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pipis Stathoulias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kosmas Katanias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerasimos Chatzakis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Karko.FCstamnas were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after METEORA F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miro Grúmenov took the corner. Chatziantoniou Sapakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The METEORA F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing METEORA F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
