Demis Kounelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Kissas having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Ermis got a freekick which was hit by Stavros Gitsioudis. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Brzakala in the 11th minute of play. Ermis's Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Melas in the 15th minute of play. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Melas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Lipochσrion FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Demis Kounelakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 26 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Necat Baysal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Necat Baysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ermis's Loukas Krotidis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necat Baysal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ermis's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Melas came free, but Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas got control of the ball when Paraskevas Loukoumakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stathis Aggelakos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fotis Melas made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Miltos Xanthopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ermis's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Xanthopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panagiotis Kissas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Aleksander Brzakala from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Paraskevas Loukoumakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Evripidis Frantzeskos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Stavros Gitsioudis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Panagiotis Kissas skillfully saved the ball. Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Loukoumakis in the 77th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Ermis's Takis Perakoglou made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panagiotis Kissas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 85 minutes, Takis Perakoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takis Perakoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermis's Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Ermis from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paraskevas Loukoumakis came free, but Panagiotis Kissas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necat Baysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Thrasivoulos Tsirigakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
