The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iraklis Zafiriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Peyton, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Conference League winners's Iraklis Zafiriou got control of the ball when Nial Peyton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Kolopetinitsa's Nial Peyton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iraklis Zafiriou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Güralp Uğurtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eufemio Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kyriakos Christodoulatos was slow to take the kick. During this time Conference League winners's players had a chance to rest. After 30 minutes, Thymios Antoniadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolopetinitsa and the Conference League winners players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Conference League winners booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thymios Antoniadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karagiotas in the 35th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Theagenis Theodorakoglou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iraklis Zafiriou. Theagenis Theodorakoglou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Güralp Uğurtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio Andrade in the 39th minute of the match. Conference League winners's Iraklis Zafiriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Conference League winners from getting a goal against them. Iraklis Zafiriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nial Peyton in the 44th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Botinos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Iraklis Zafiriou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nial Peyton went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Christos Alexiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nial Peyton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panagiotis Kaliasis took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iraklis Zafiriou. Iraklis Zafiriou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Iraklis Zafiriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Tsabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Akakios Kaikis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Güralp Uğurtan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute, Conference League winners's Akakios Kaikis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. In the 96th match minute, Conference League winners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Mavreas to maneuver through the defense.
