With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Peng Yi in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güralp Uğurtan saved Kolopetinitsa from getting behind. When Kolopetinitsa's Nial Peyton in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAPSALOMADA FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Peng Yi in the 9th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güralp Uğurtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Peng Yi in the 12th minute of the match. Nikos Nikolaou made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nial Peyton sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes SAPSALOMADA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Panagiotis Kaliasis who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute, Nial Peyton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikos Nikolaou. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 33rd match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Kaliasis to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Nikolaou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nial Peyton in the 36th minute. Nial Peyton kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SAPSALOMADA FC's keeper Nikos Nikolaou was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Panos Tsabis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Nikolaou came out and tried to block the shot, but Panos Tsabis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Eleftherios Poulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAPSALOMADA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleftherios Poulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güralp Uğurtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güralp Uğurtan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Peng Yi in the 52nd minute of play. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kolopetinitsa from getting a goal against them. Zhao Peng Yis short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Güralp Uğurtan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute Nial Peyton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Nikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Nikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Tsabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SAPSALOMADA FC's Zbigniew Grondzki got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kolopetinitsa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Kolopetinitsa got a corner. SAPSALOMADA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panagiotis Kaliasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Eleftherios Poulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SAPSALOMADA FC's goalkeeper Nikos Nikolaou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Panagiotis Kaliasis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou did a great save. Nikos Nikolaou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Tsabis in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SAPSALOMADA FC! Nial Peyton might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Nikolaou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nial Peyton ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikos Nikolaou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nial Peyton in the 92nd minute of play. SAPSALOMADA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
