Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Rivera in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omiros Ntounos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15thth minute of the game Farid Delecroix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Javier García was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Omiros Ntounos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Rivera in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Thrasivoulos Stamatis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Georgiadis came free, but Javier García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier García showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Delecroix in the 25th minute of the match. Omiros Ntounos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alekos Roubakis in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Stamatis to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Vouzakis came free, but Javier García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omiros Ntounos made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Orlando Rivera sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Dorotheos Frantzeskos with Thanasis Malioufas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thanasis Vouzakis made a kick off. Omiros Ntounos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lakis Kazantzakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led O.T.E's Lakis Kazantzakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Omiros Ntounos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Javier García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paris Georgiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Paris Georgiadis got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Javier García was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Orlando Rivera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omiros Ntounos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Javier García made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Paris Georgiadis sent off a good shot on target. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Baroğlu in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lakis Kazantzakis hit a great ball. Farid Delecroix's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Javier García on his right side and into the goal. 89 minutes into the game it was 2-1. Thanasis Vouzakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Javier García made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özen Baroğlu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özen Baroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ may have spent more time on the ball, but O.T.E were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
