Miltiadis Panagoulias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Maciel's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Aureliano Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltiadis Panagoulias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltiadis Panagoulias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Castro in the 12th minute of play. Miltiadis Panagoulias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Stanislao in the 18th minute of the match. Telis Ntasios took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Liadelis. Vassilis Liadelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Telis Ntasios in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Liadelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΡΑΠΗ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ's Téo Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miltiadis Panagoulias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes ΑΣΤΡΑΠΗ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kapetanos. 33 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Miltiadis Panagoulias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Castro. When Olympiacos FC's Telis Ntasios in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias got control of the ball when Aureliano Stanislao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heitor Castro scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miltiadis Panagoulias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olympiacos FC's Louis Dentsas was substituted for Michalis Savouras. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Castro to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Aureliano Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltiadis Panagoulias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telis Ntasios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Stanislao came free, but Miltiadis Panagoulias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miltiadis Panagoulias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Miltiadis Panagoulias came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΣΤΡΑΠΗ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ's Aureliano Stanislao. But to his dismay, Aureliano Stanislao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Stanislao in the 94th minute of play. Vassilis Liadelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telis Ntasios, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΑΣΤΡΑΠΗ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ's goalkeeper Vassilis Liadelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ΑΣΤΡΑΠΗ ΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ fully deserved thier win.
