Alketas Tsirakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Miltiadis Panagoulias made a huge save. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Mădălin Braica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Kostis got free with Miltiadis Panagoulias in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Trifon Theofilatos got a free kick in the 11th minute. Miltiadis Panagoulias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Drake in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Harry Kane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miltiadis Panagoulias made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alketas Tsirakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Christos Kostis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltiadis Panagoulias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Kane came free, but Miltiadis Panagoulias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionysis Souanis came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miltiadis Panagoulias could save by the left post. Zinon Anagnostou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Telis Ntasios's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Savouras came free, but Zinon Anagnostou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Michalis Savouras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Dionysis Souanis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias. Miltiadis Panagoulias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Trifon Theofilatos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Kostis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miltiadis Panagoulias. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Christos Kostis made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alketas Tsirakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltiadis Panagoulias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chatziantoniou Kesoglou to maneuver through the defense. Miltiadis Panagoulias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Kane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Christos Kostis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias. In the 71st minute, Gualter Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympiacos FC's Michalis Savouras got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Telis Ntasios hit a great ball. Paraskevas Panagiotakos took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miltiadis Panagoulias. Miltiadis Panagoulias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Telis Ntasioss short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Zinon Anagnostou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Kostis came free, but Miltiadis Panagoulias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympiacos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonis Mavrofidis was slow to take the kick. During this time ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Rex Drake managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 92 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goal looked a bit too open when Telis Ntasios came free, but Zinon Anagnostou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ got a corner. Olympiacos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonis Mavrofidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antonis Mavrofidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miltiadis Panagoulias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ had won after a very even match.
