An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Kasselakis in the 3rd minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Miltiadis Panagoulias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Adamantios Ieronimakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Marwan came free, but Miltiadis Panagoulias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The A.E.T. fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when A.E.T.'s Mustafa Marwan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zinon Galanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miltiadis Panagoulias made a huge save. Miltiadis Panagoulias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Marwan in the 14th minute of play. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Panagoulias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Michalis Savouras hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Victor Öberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.E.T.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympiacos FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, A.E.T. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Miltiadis Panagoulias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Marwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miltiadis Panagoulias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zinon Galanos in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mustafa Marwan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miltiadis Panagoulias. 35 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Miltiadis Panagoulias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Marwan. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Marwan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miltiadis Panagoulias saved Olympiacos FC from getting behind. After having played for 52 minutes, Mustafa Marwan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.E.T.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Marwan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miltiadis Panagoulias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Marwan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Damián Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adamantios Ieronimakis in the 58th minute. A.E.T. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Olympiacos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fokas Bartzos took the corner. After taking down the ball on A.E.T.'s corner Kostas Kouros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miltiadis Panagoulias quite easily take care of the ball. Telis Ntasios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damián Martínez came out and tried to block the shot, but Telis Ntasios slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 85th minute. Mustafa Marwan scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miltiadis Panagoulias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, A.E.T.'s goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Savouras came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.E.T.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
