The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Bertoglio in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akis Sarafis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Karteris came free, but Spyros Renieris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spyros Renieris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Karteris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GOD OF WAR's Spyros Renieris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Facundo Bertoglio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Akis Sarafis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spyros Renieris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Facundo Bertoglio came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Akis Sarafis could save by the left post. 31 minutes into the game, Walmyr Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GOD OF WAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Ajax the free kick. 37 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Akis Sarafis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Bertoglio. 39 minutes into the game, GOD OF WAR's Facundo Bertoglio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akis Sarafis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. GOD OF WAR's attentive Jean-Baptiste Croizer managed to snatch the ball when Thalis Karteris made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Facundo Bertoglio made the kick off in the second half. GOD OF WAR's Vassilis Drambas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thalis Karteris, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Akis Sarafis came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by GOD OF WAR's Vassilis Drambas. But to his dismay, Vassilis Drambas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Aureo Morera replaced German Sarracino. GOD OF WAR made a substitution. Anacleto Fuentes replaced Walmyr Severo. When Facundo Bertoglio came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the GOD OF WAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Bertoglio couldn't finish the play. GOD OF WAR made a substitution. William Eliasson replaced Tulkas Vala. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Akis Sarafis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Tsitsanis in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes AFC Ajax's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Fågel who took care of the corner kick. David Fågel made a great header on GOD OF WAR's corner, it was just that AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis managed to reach the ball for a save. After 73 minutes of play, GOD OF WAR's Alekos Tsitsanis made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akis Sarafis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spyros Renieris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Marley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spyros Renieris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Alekos Tsitsanis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Sarafis having to make a save. Akis Sarafis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Tsitsanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute, Alekos Tsitsanis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akis Sarafis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. 91 minutes into the game, Anacleto Fuentes threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC Ajax's Stavros Tsebelis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Akis Sarafis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Drambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
