When Harri Salmi fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurunpää FC's protests and gave Harri Salmi a yellow card for diving instead. Harri Salmi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tino Puutio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosti Pihlanen having to interfere. Tino Puutio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heino Uotila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tino Puutio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosti Pihlanen having to interfere. Timo Ahosmäki hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tino Puutio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kosti Pihlanen saved Kurunpää FC from getting behind. Alfred Saarelainen made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Markus Virkkunen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heino Uotila in the 36th minute of play forced Kurunpää FC's goalkeeper Kosti Pihlanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tino Puutio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kosti Pihlanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaislarannan Veto's Alfred Saarelainen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Kaislarannan Veto from getting a goal against them. With his leg Kosti Pihlanen managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Kaislarannan Veto's Olli-Pekka Puurula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tino Puutio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kosti Pihlanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tino Puutio could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Kosti Pihlanen however easily saved by the left post. After 73 minutes of play, Kaislarannan Veto's Tino Puutio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kosti Pihlanen was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Kurunpää FC's Kosti Pihlanen got control of the ball when Tino Puutio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Kaislarannan Veto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsi Koivisto to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Kaislarannan Veto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kurunpää FC.
