Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pekka Vilmunen started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Nyystölä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kustaa Riihijärvi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Pekka Vilmunen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sipi Leppiniemi was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Nyystölä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kustaa Riihijärvi to maneuver through the defense. Sipi Leppiniemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pekka Vilmunen's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Lauri Uusikartano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sipi Leppiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Tauno Lagerblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannu Möksy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lauri Uusikartano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulversö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauri Uusikartano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sipi Leppiniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lasse Toivanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannu Möksy having to interfere. Hannu Möksy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ossian Wallenius. Hannu Möksy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauno Lagerblom in the 32nd minute of play. Sipi Leppiniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauri Uusikartano in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Pekka Vilmunen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sipi Leppiniemi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd match minute, Ulversö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teppo Kamppunen to maneuver through the defense. Sipi Leppiniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauri Uusikartano in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Ulversö IFK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Pauli Vihko hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tauno Lagerblom to make the kick off. Sipi Leppiniemi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pauli Vihko went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Nyystölä's goalkeeper Sipi Leppiniemi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pauli Vihko. Sipi Leppiniemi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulversö IFK's Pauli Vihko. But to his dismay, Pauli Vihko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Pekka Vilmunen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Sipi Leppiniemi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sipi Leppiniemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauri Uusikartano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nyystölä's Sipi Leppiniemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nyystölä from getting a goal against them. Hannu Möksy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eerikki Nikko in the 75th minute of the match. Sipi Leppiniemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauri Uusikartano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauri Uusikartano struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Sipi Leppiniemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulversö IFK. Pauli Vihko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 81st playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eerikki Nikko in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannu Möksy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Nyystölä's Tauno Lagerblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannu Möksy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Nyystölä fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ulversö IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
