Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aadolf Tuomainen kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, FC Reipas's Arvi Korpisalo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Red Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Vilppu Ahokorpi. Red Devils FC's Otso Myllykoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pellervo Järvenpää in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Devils FC's Lasse Jokinen got a free kick in the 10th minute. Lasse Jokinen lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Devils FC! The referee gave FC Reipas a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lari Niemivirta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Red Devils FC's Otso Myllykoski. 0-1. Jeremias Koivisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Väinö Grönholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Väinö Grönholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Koivisto in the 23rd minute. Jeremias Koivisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Väinö Grönholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of FC Reipas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Devils FC:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Red Devils FC. Jeremias Koivisto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Väinö Grönholm. 1-1. After some careless play in the FC Reipas defense, Ivan Stephansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Väinö Grönholm. The FC Reipas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Väinö Grönholm should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Koivisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Väinö Grönholm having to make a save. In the 38th minute Vilppu Ahokorpi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Väinö Grönholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Koivisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Väinö Grönholm having to make a save. Red Devils FC's Ivan Stephansson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Reipas's Väinö Grönholm got control of the ball when Jeremias Koivisto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aadolf Tuomainen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Väinö Grönholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pellervo Järvenpää made a kick off. Jeremias Koivisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Väinö Grönholm having to interfere. Silvo Aho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Vilppu Ahokorpi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilppu Ahokorpi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Väinö Grönholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Koivisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Väinö Grönholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Koivisto ran back to his position shaking his head. Juha-Pekka Pihlainen's late challenge caught a Red Devils FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juha-Pekka Pihlainen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Juha-Pekka Pihlainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Red Devils FC's Ivan Stephansson tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Vilppu Ahokorpi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Koivisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilppu Ahokorpi scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Väinö Grönholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otso Myllykoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvo Aho in the 81st minute of play. Otso Myllykoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellervo Järvenpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Väinö Grönholm came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils FC's Jeremias Koivisto. But to his dismay, Jeremias Koivisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Red Devils FC's László Pethő was substituted for Aadolf Tuomainen. Jeremias Koivisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Väinö Grönholm came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils FC's Jeremias Koivisto. But to his dismay, Jeremias Koivisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1.
