Kerkko Tikka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Kesä in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Tammi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Kesä came free, but Kerkko Tikka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Holiseva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tammi FC:s goal. Vesa Kevari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmi Koski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arho Viitala, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kerkko Tikka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilpo Luotonen in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Robert Kesä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilkka Keskinarkaus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Kerkko Tikka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kesä, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilpo Luotonen in the 40th minute of play forced Tammi FC's goalkeeper Kerkko Tikka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teemu Hassinen in the 44th minute of play forced Holiseva's goalkeeper Anselmi Koski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Kesä couldn't finish the play. Anselmi Koski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkka Keskinarkaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Holiseva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvesteri Lähteenmäki to maneuver through the defense. Ilpo Luotonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Kerkko Tikka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ilkka Keskinarkaus put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmi Koski. Holiseva's Anselmi Koski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teemu Hassinen in the 97th minute of play. Holiseva's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tammi FC had won, even though Holiseva had held more of the ball.
