Miska Välivaara hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Osmo Jämsä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Tino Timoska managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink Gorillas Utd.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tino Timoska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turkka Viklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Osmo Jämsä elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osmo Jämsä to strike the kick off in the second half. Turkka Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmo Jämsä in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Tino Timoska sped through Peijari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Turkka Viklund.
