Kari Heikkinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pyry Tallus in the 4th minute of play. Pyry Tallus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kari Heikkinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ville Koskinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jukka Malinen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Pyry Tallus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kari Heikkinen. FC Gallia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pyry Tallus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Nordic Alunited booed when FC Gallia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esko Pitkämäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Kultti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Elmer Tuomisaari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalervo Airisto in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kari Heikkinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pyry Tallus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kari Heikkinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pyry Tallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Heikkinen having to interfere. After the first half Nordic Alunited were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esko Pitkämäki to strike the kick off in the second half. Pyry Tallus took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kari Heikkinen. Kari Heikkinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Elmer Tuomisaari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esko Pitkämäki in the 58th minute of play. Kari Heikkinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalervo Airisto in the 63rd minute of the match. When Nordic Alunited's Kalervo Airisto in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gallia's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Nordic Alunited booed when FC Gallia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyösti Hedberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Kyösti Hedberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nordic Alunited's Pyry Tallus got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pyry Tallus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Norström struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kari Heikkinen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordic Alunited. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pyry Tallus got free with Kari Heikkinen in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Mikko Pasanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Kultti scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elmer Tuomisaari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pyry Tallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Heikkinen having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Pyry Tallus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Kari Heikkinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 95 played minutes FC Gallia got a freekick which was hit by Mikko Pasanen. The Nordic Alunited supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nordic Alunited would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
