Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Turo Laurila made the kick off and thus started the match. Vili Piispa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Joonatan Turunen sent off a good shot on target. Joonatan Turunen struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vili Piispa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rita. In the 25th minute, one of Manchester United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manchester United. In the 30th minute, Teemu Hannula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rita booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antti Mattila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Turo Laurila 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Antti Mattila notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rita's Petri Lehtilä. Petri Lehtilä was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rita's goalkeeper Petri Lehtilä, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Tepedino in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petri Lehtilä prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Antti Mattila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antti Mattila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vili Piispa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turo Laurila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manchester United were winning 1-2.

Daniel Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Petri Lehtilä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Enrique Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petri Lehtilä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antti Mattila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petri Lehtilä. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Tepedino ran back to his position shaking his head. Antti Mattila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Joonatan Turunen came free, but Vili Piispa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Petri Lehtilä made a huge save. In the 67th minute Joonatan Turunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vili Piispa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Rita got a freekick which was hit by Juho Kiprusoff. 73 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Joonatan Turunen came free, but Vili Piispa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
