A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Huopanankoski IFK's goalkeeper Kustavi Kaltiainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaro Pärssinen. Anssi Olkkonen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ohto Murto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aarne Kananen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ohto Murto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuomo Haarala struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kustavi Kaltiainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kabböle FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Vesanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Alfred Vesanen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aarne Kananen, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kabböle FC's zone, Alfred Vesanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aarne Kananen came out of the goal and Alfred Vesanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kabböle FC booed when Huopanankoski IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilkka Ahmaoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuomo Haarala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kustavi Kaltiainen having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Ohto Murto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huopanankoski IFK and the Kabböle FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Ohto Murto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Huopanankoski IFK got a freekick which was hit by Nikodemus Jukkola. 79 minutes into the match, Huopanankoski IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sipi Eerola came free, but Kustavi Kaltiainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kabböle FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
