Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hermanni Torkkeli made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Itäranta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eino Vainio came free, but Teuvo Parkkali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Itäranta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermanni Torkkeli. Hermanni Torkkeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hermanni Keinänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermanni Torkkeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teuvo Parkkali came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by RPS's Eino Vainio. But to his dismay, Eino Vainio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Itäranta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eino Vainio came free, but Teuvo Parkkali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Miro Eskelinen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itäranta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RPS the free kick. Miro Eskelinen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Turkka Kauppinen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teuvo Parkkali showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hermanni Keinänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veeti Koski in the 37th minute of the match. Hermanni Keinänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niilo Lätti in the 39th minute of play. Teuvo Parkkali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eino Vainio went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
The wind increased when Eino Vainio made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Itäranta FC's Jaakko Vehmanen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Itäranta FC's Veeti Koski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermanni Keinänen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to RPS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hemminki Lindström hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Veeti Koski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermanni Keinänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eino Vainio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teuvo Parkkali came out and tried to block the shot, but Eino Vainio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. Jaakko Vehmanen charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaakko Vehmanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Itäranta FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaakko Vehmanen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eino Vainio got free with Teuvo Parkkali in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Itäranta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermanni Torkkeli to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Itäranta FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Miro Eskelinen hit a great ball. Luis María Angel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Teuvo Parkkali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RPS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
