Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Bastö got a freekick which was hit by Henri Peltomaa. Aarto Pihkala came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Tuv City's Simo Tähtinen. But to his dismay, Simo Tähtinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 minutes, Aatos Leonoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuv City and the Bastö players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bastö booed when Tuv City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aatos Leonoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuv City were furious when Pauli Piekkanen was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 13 minutes into the game, one of Tuv City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tuv City's Joonatan Teräs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aukusti Raninen in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bastö's goalkeeper Aarto Pihkala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Juha-Pekka Haarala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aarto Pihkala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juha-Pekka Haarala scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aarto Pihkala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Tuv City's goalkeeper Joonatan Teräs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvi Laatikainen. Aukusti Raninen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joonatan Teräs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastö were furious when Arto Paukkunen was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, one of Bastö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bastö. The Bastö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tuv City were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Arvi Laatikainen made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Vesa Helavuori in the 61st minute really tested Aarto Pihkala's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Juha-Pekka Haarala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Aarto Pihkala made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Tuv City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jani Seppä to maneuver through the defense. Tuv City's Joonatan Teräs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvi Laatikainen in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvi Laatikainen in the 71st minute of play forced Tuv City's goalkeeper Joonatan Teräs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aarto Pihkala made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Juha-Pekka Haarala sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Simo Tähtinen took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Aarto Pihkala to make any attempt to save it. After 81 played minutes Tuv City got a freekick which was hit by Terho Vihtilä. In the 84th minute Arvi Laatikainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Teräs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Tuv City's Juha-Pekka Haarala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aarto Pihkala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juha-Pekka Haarala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Aarto Pihkala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simo Tähtinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aarto Pihkala having to make a save. If Simo Tähtinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arvi Laatikainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joonatan Teräs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tuv City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
