Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maunu Laulaja started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Ilpo Laaksonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Maunu Laulaja in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Karri Kolsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vilppu Vapaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harjavalta Hangarounds's Harri Hakala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severi Leppilampi in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Santtu Salomaa suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Harjavalta Hangarounds's Elmer Virtala was substituted for Santtu Salomaa. After a rather tough play, Koppila's Urpo Räikkönen got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Koppila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urpo Räikkönen to maneuver through the defense. Vilppu Vapaniemi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maunu Laulaja went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Vilppu Vapaniemi managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Harjavalta Hangarounds's Maunu Laulaja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 minutes of play, Koppila's Auno Kokkonen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harri Hakala was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilpo Laaksonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Markku Häppölä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Koppila's Vilppu Vapaniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maunu Laulaja in the 40th minute of play. Leo Junnila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilppu Vapaniemi having to make a save. Koppila's Vilppu Vapaniemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Koppila from getting a goal against them. If Maunu Laulaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Koppila got a freekick which was hit by Urpo Räikkönen. A collision led to Koppila getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eetu Kiviharju hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Maunu Laulaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harjavalta Hangarounds's supporters rose to their feet, but Maunu Laulaja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilppu Vapaniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Karri Kolsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harri Hakala came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Koppila's Severi Leppilampi. But to his dismay, Severi Leppilampi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Reino Heliskoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, one of Koppila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Koppila. Vilppu Vapaniemi had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Hannu Järventie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Maunu Laulaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vilppu Vapaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilppu Vapaniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maunu Laulaja in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Harjavalta Hangarounds's Leo Junnila got a free kick in the 84th minute. Harjavalta Hangarounds's Harri Hakala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auno Kokkonen in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Harjavalta Hangarounds booed when Koppila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urpo Räikkönen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Reino Heliskoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilpo Laaksonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilppu Vapaniemi having to interfere.
