Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Auno Kokkonen started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ujanen's Mika Pasanen got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Koppila's Severi Leppilampi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sulho Kattilakoski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sulho Kattilakoski came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Koppila's Severi Leppilampi. But to his dismay, Severi Leppilampi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Koppila's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yrjö Raukko was slow to take the kick. During this time Ujanen's players had a chance to rest. Mika Pasanen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Urpo Räikkönen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Auno Kokkonen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ujanen's Sulho Kattilakoski. Sulho Kattilakoski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Auno Kokkonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sulho Kattilakoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Urpo Räikkönen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yrjö Raukko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Severi Leppilampi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sulho Kattilakoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auno Kokkonen in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ujanen's Ilpo Noronen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Koppila booed when Ujanen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilpo Noronen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herkko Haapaporras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urpo Räikkönen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sulho Kattilakoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute Jorma Laitila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilppu Vapaniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jorma Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Sulho Kattilakoski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eljas Läänelä charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eljas Läänelä the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eljas Läänelä hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Severi Leppilampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ujanen's Sulho Kattilakoski got control of the ball when Severi Leppilampi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severi Leppilampi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Sulho Kattilakoski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ujanen! 72 minutes into the game, Koppila's Antto Bärlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sulho Kattilakoski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a little luck, Ujanen's Sulho Kattilakoski got control of the ball when Severi Leppilampi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilpo Noronen hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Yrjö Raukko charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yrjö Raukko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, one of Ujanen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ujanen. In the 89th minute of the game, Koppila got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Auno Kokkonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sulho Kattilakoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Herkko Haapaporras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
