Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) FC Komar's Ahti Jylhä started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Komar booed when Andelmaa IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomo Nevanlinna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Kristian Koivunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Komar were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Andelmaa IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maarek Haluriit took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Komar's corner Maarek Haluriit fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pentti Rantala quite easily take care of the ball. After 11 played minutes FC Komar got a freekick which was hit by Anton Moldovan. In the 16th minute of the match Jeremias Viitakoski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raino Oksa skillfully saved the ball. Sampsa Rantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anton Moldovan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, FC Komar's Anton Moldovan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Henrikki Karjalainen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raino Oksa. FC Komar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raino Oksa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terho Laaksonen in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Sampsa Rantala put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Raino Oksa. Pentti Rantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahti Jylhä went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Martti Räsänen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ahti Jylhä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to FC Komar getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Maarek Haluriit hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Aapo Pikkarainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Andelmaa IFK booed when FC Komar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits Van Eyke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sampsa Rantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terho Laaksonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raino Oksa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Komar booed when Andelmaa IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomo Nevanlinna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Andelmaa IFK defense, Martti Räsänen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pentti Rantala. The Andelmaa IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pentti Rantala should have stopped the shot. Sampsa Rantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sampsa Rantala charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sampsa Rantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Andelmaa IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sampsa Rantala to maneuver through the defense. Frits Van Eyke took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pentti Rantala. Pentti Rantala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 90th minute Terho Laaksonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raino Oksa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Andelmaa IFK's Terho Laaksonen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raino Oksa. Raino Oksa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 97th minute Ahti Jylhä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pentti Rantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Komar fully deserved thier win.
