Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fc Inter Turku's Oskari Puurunen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haukat Härmälä's Riku Hassinen got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Hevonkorpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aarne Forsman in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Aarne Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Hevonkorpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viljami Vesanen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Riku Hassinen in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfred Hevonkorpi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taito Mattila in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Hevonkorpi saved Fc Inter Turku from getting behind. Jorma Sihvonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taito Mattila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Hevonkorpi having to interfere. Fc Inter Turku's Alfred Hevonkorpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarne Forsman in the 38th minute of play. Alfred Hevonkorpi came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Haukat Härmälä's Riku Hassinen. But to his dismay, Riku Hassinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Fc Inter Turku's Alfred Hevonkorpi got control of the ball when Riku Hassinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aarne Forsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Hevonkorpi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Toni Koivisto fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Inter Turku's protests and gave Toni Koivisto a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Fc Inter Turku got a freekick which was hit by Toni Koivisto. In the 54th minute Aarne Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Hevonkorpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Koivisto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Haukat Härmälä's Juhani Huuhtanen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Inter Turku. In the 59th match minute, Fc Inter Turku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Manninen to maneuver through the defense. Aarne Forsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riku Hassinen struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alfred Hevonkorpi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haukat Härmälä. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Aarne Forsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haukat Härmälä's supporters rose to their feet, but Aarne Forsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Hevonkorpi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riku Hassinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riku Hassinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Hevonkorpi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Riku Hassinen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Aarne Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Hevonkorpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommi Saastamoinen's late challenge caught a Fc Inter Turku's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommi Saastamoinen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Haukat Härmälä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommi Saastamoinen to maneuver through the defense. Fc Inter Turku's Alfred Hevonkorpi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riku Hassinen in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes Fc Inter Turku's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juhani Huuhtanen who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riku Hassinen in the 92nd minute of play forced Fc Inter Turku's goalkeeper Alfred Hevonkorpi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miika Rosenqvist fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Inter Turku's protests and gave Miika Rosenqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Miika Rosenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aarne Forsman came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Haukat Härmälä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aarne Forsman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Inter Turku's zone, Aarne Forsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Hevonkorpi came out of the goal and Aarne Forsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taito Mattila in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Hevonkorpi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Haukat Härmälä had played much better football throughout.
