An unexpectedly hard shot by Pellervo Keinänen in the 3rd minute of play forced Pörtmossa FC's goalkeeper Elmer Lumme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes HELL-SIN-KI got a freekick which was hit by Tuukka Pulkkinen. Kaj Lehti struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Sercan Ergül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pörtmossa FC. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pellervo Keinänen sped through Pörtmossa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elmer Lumme. The supporters of HELL-SIN-KI booed when Pörtmossa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkki Wallenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elmer Lumme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellervo Keinänen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmer Lumme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pellervo Keinänen in the 30th minute of play. Elmer Lumme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theagenis Papakonstantinou, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Pörtmossa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pellervo Keinänen came free, but Elmer Lumme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panu Vainio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pellervo Keinänen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Elmer Lumme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half HELL-SIN-KI were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erkki Wallenius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Pellervo Keinänen took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Elmer Lumme to make any attempt to save it. Elmer Lumme was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Aarno Mantila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aarno Mantila really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pellervo Keinänen in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elmer Lumme saved Pörtmossa FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Frank Velasco notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Pörtmossa FC's Elmer Lumme. Elmer Lumme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pellervo Keinänen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Pörtmossa FC's Elmer Lumme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Pörtmossa FC from getting a goal against them. After 75 minutes of play, HELL-SIN-KI's Theagenis Papakonstantinou made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elmer Lumme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panu Vainio's late challenge caught a HELL-SIN-KI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panu Vainio helped the player get up and apologised. Panu Vainio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Sercan Ergül showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panu Vainio in the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pellervo Keinänen during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes HELL-SIN-KI got a freekick which was hit by Pellervo Keinänen. Frank Velasco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Pellervo Keinänen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HELL-SIN-KI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pellervo Keinänen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
