Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Helsinki City's Denis Chayo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sylvesteri Tikkanen charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylvesteri Tikkanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Helsinki City's Sylvesteri Tikkanen got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Chayo got free with Pertti Pirnes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute of the match Helsinki City got a corner. FC...Musashi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sylvesteri Saira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Valio Meijer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pertti Pirnes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the FC...Musashi defense, Valio Meijer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pertti Pirnes. The FC...Musashi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pertti Pirnes should have stopped the shot. Helsinki City's Robert Tikka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eerikki Ilola in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC...Musashi defense, Teppo Järvenpää kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pertti Pirnes. The FC...Musashi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pertti Pirnes should have stopped the shot. Teppo Järvenpää's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pertti Pirnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC...Musashi's zone, Teppo Järvenpää stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pertti Pirnes came out of the goal and Teppo Järvenpää tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Daavid Ruisniemi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC...Musashi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Helsinki City the free kick. Daavid Ruisniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Teppo Järvenpää could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pertti Pirnes made a huge save. In the 31stth minute of the game Denis Chayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC...Musashi's Pertti Pirnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pertti Pirnes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teppo Järvenpää showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Pertti Pirnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Chayo in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC...Musashi's goalkeeper Pertti Pirnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylvesteri Saira. Sylvesteri Tikkanen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pertti Pirnes having to make a save. Sylvesteri Saira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teppo Järvenpää sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Sylvesteri Saira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC...Musashi's Pertti Pirnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eerikki Ilola to make the kick off. Eerikki Ilola kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Helsinki City getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sylvesteri Saira hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, Helsinki City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfkı Karun to maneuver through the defense. Eerikki Ilola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Tikka having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Sylvesteri Saira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pertti Pirnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Denis Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eerikki Ilola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Sylvesteri Saira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helsinki City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvesteri Saira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pertti Pirnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teppo Järvenpää in the 69th minute of play. When Sylvesteri Tikkanen came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Helsinki City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvesteri Tikkanen couldn't finish the play. Sylvesteri Saira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pertti Pirnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sylvesteri Saira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsinki City's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvesteri Saira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pertti Pirnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Sylvesteri Saira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pertti Pirnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teppo Järvenpää came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Helsinki City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teppo Järvenpää couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes, Helsinki City's Sylvesteri Saira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pertti Pirnes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Helsinki City reached it. After a defensive mix-up in FC...Musashi's zone, Sylvesteri Tikkanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pertti Pirnes came out of the goal and Sylvesteri Tikkanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Denis Chayo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pertti Pirnes.
