Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Urpo Järvensivu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raimo Kaski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Sampsa Kevari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Pasi Vauhkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vermo Blackhorses's supporters rose to their feet, but Pasi Vauhkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Usko Kaltiainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antti Kukkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pellervo Hagman in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, FC Vermo Blackhorses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimo Kaski to maneuver through the defense. Raimo Seikola scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antti Kukkonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aappo Latvala struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Usko Kaltiainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vermo Blackhorses. Antti Kukkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellervo Hagman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Usko Kaltiainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urpo Järvensivu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urpo Järvensivu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Usko Kaltiainen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes FC Vermo Blackhorses got a freekick which was hit by Tero Hassinen. After some careless play in the Rahola defense, Kaapro Palsola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Usko Kaltiainen. The Rahola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Usko Kaltiainen should have stopped the shot. After 39th play minutes Urpo Järvensivu shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Usko Kaltiainen and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Urpo Järvensivu put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Usko Kaltiainen. Urpo Järvensivu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Usko Kaltiainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vermo Blackhorses. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juho Kokkila to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Juho Kokkila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antti Kukkonen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Usko Kaltiainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urpo Järvensivu in the 59th minute. Kaapro Palsola struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Urpo Järvensivu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Juho Kokkila notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of FC Vermo Blackhorses's Antti Kukkonen. Antti Kukkonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kaapro Palsola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Usko Kaltiainen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urpo Järvensivu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 72 minute of play. Urpo Järvensivu had several of the Rahola's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-6 score and a disappointed Usko Kaltiainen as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Rahola getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tuukka Kanerva hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rahola's zone, Pasi Vauhkonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Usko Kaltiainen came out of the goal and Pasi Vauhkonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Usko Kaltiainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urpo Järvensivu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Urpo Järvensivu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vermo Blackhorses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urpo Järvensivu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Vermo Blackhorses's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
