Fc Death Star's Stefan Ziehsow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Virtanen in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jouni Laiho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Isopescu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Fc Death Star:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Pallolaajennus:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for FC Pallolaajennus. Alfred Hurme stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stefan Ziehsow. 0-1. FC Pallolaajennus's Sulo Virtanen got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armas Kapanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Kevari in the 43rd minute of the match. Kalervo Kimmonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Armas Kapanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Pallolaajennus's Miko Kallio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Fc Death Star players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pallolaajennus were winning 0-1.

In the 56th minute Jouni Laiho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Ziehsow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jouni Laiho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jouni Laiho managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pallolaajennus's supporters rose to their feet, but Jouni Laiho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Ziehsow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Ziehsow made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Miko Kallio sent off a good shot on target. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Miko Kallio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stefan Ziehsow, 0-2. Jouni Laiho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Miko Kallio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Pallolaajennus played a much better game than Fc Death Star and deserved their victory. The Fc Death Star players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
