Jani Kärkkäinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Harri Okkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Salomo Kärnä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Blomberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Ristonmäki IFK's Urpo Pasanen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harri Okkonen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urpo Pasanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harri Okkonen having to interfere. If Urpo Pasanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kiettare FC's Harri Okkonen got control of the ball when Urpo Pasanen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Kiettare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jani Kärkkäinen came free, but Harri Okkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pekko Vainio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Samuel Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiettare FC's Kasperi Järvenpää couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ristonmäki IFK. Urpo Pasanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juha-Pekka Rintala tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Harri Okkonen. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 41st minute. If Urpo Pasanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Kiettare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jani Kärkkäinen came free, but Harri Okkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jani Kärkkäinen made the kick off in the second half. Aleksis Niskala charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksis Niskala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kiettare FC's Aleksis Niskala got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Urpo Pasanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harri Okkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kiettare FC's zone, Jani Kärkkäinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harri Okkonen came out of the goal and Jani Kärkkäinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiettare FC's Harri Okkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jani Kärkkäinen in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kiettare FC's zone, Veeti Hevonkorpi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harri Okkonen came out of the goal and Veeti Hevonkorpi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jani Kärkkäinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harri Okkonen having to interfere. Kiettare FC's Harri Okkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jani Kärkkäinen in the 77th minute of play. The Ristonmäki IFK fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Ristonmäki IFK's Urpo Pasanen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juha-Pekka Rintala kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jani Kärkkäinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jani Kärkkäinen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 91 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Harri Okkonen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Harri Okkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jani Kärkkäinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kiettare FC defense, Jani Kärkkäinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harri Okkonen. The Kiettare FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harri Okkonen should have stopped the shot.
