Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Salomo Kärnä got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes, Palokka FC's Allan Sairanen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harri Okkonen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palokka FC reached it. Kiettare FC's Harri Okkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uoti Pietiläinen in the 4th minute of play. Uoti Pietiläinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harri Okkonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palokka FC! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konsta Holmström in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harri Okkonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harri Okkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konsta Holmström, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Uoti Pietiläinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taneli Heinikangas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Akseli Lamminen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taneli Heinikangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Konsta Holmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palokka FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Konsta Holmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harri Okkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Palokka FC got a freekick which was hit by Ylermi Sulku. Harri Okkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konsta Holmström in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uoti Pietiläinen during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Uoti Pietiläinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Kiettare FC's Salomo Kärnä sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Akseli Lamminen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Salomo Kärnä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akseli Lamminen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konsta Holmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Harri Okkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksis Niskala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Akseli Lamminen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konsta Holmström to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Salomo Kärnä's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akseli Lamminen was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Konsta Holmström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pekko Vainio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiettare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pekko Vainio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akseli Lamminen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, Ylermi Sulku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palokka FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiettare FC the free kick. Salomo Kärnä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Palokka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkki Koivunen to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Palokka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pekko Vainio came free, but Akseli Lamminen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harri Okkonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uoti Pietiläinen in the 78th minute. Uoti Pietiläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Harri Okkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palokka FC's Ylermi Sulku got a free kick in the 88th minute. Akseli Lamminen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomo Kärnä in the 89th minute of the match. If Pekko Vainio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomo Kärnä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akseli Lamminen having to interfere. Kiettare FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palokka FC for a fine match.
