A hard shot by Timo Kautonen from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Tatu Vihko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Uoti Pietiläinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tatu Vihko made a huge save. Konsta Holmström struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tatu Vihko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palokka FC. After a defensive mix-up in Palokka FC's zone, Aleksanteri Heikkinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akseli Lamminen came out of the goal and Aleksanteri Heikkinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Palokka FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Louhimo FC:s goal. Akseli Lamminen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksanteri Heikkinen in the 22nd minute of play. Akseli Lamminen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riku Peltola, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Aleksanteri Heikkinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akseli Lamminen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleksanteri Heikkinen ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aleksanteri Heikkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uoti Pietiläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tatu Vihko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tatu Vihko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palokka FC. The Louhimo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
