Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) Jani Kärkkäinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aatto Lajunen having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Urpo Pasanen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aatto Lajunen. A collision led to Ristonmäki IFK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Veeti Hevonkorpi hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Vesa Tukio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ristonmäki IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC HaNor the free kick. After 10 played minutes Ristonmäki IFK got a freekick which was hit by Vesa Tukio. A collision led to FC HaNor getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Uoti Kanerva hit a great ball. Ristonmäki IFK's Sami Okkonen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC HaNor. 16 minutes into the game, FC HaNor's Asmo Hannula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Blomberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Unto Haapaniemi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Blomberg. Unto Haapaniemi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Unto Haapaniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unto Haapaniemi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Blomberg saved Ristonmäki IFK from getting behind. Asmo Hannula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Samuel Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Urpo Pasanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ristonmäki IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urpo Pasanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aatto Lajunen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urpo Pasanen's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Jani Kärkkäinen made a precise shot to the right of Aatto Lajunen. FC HaNor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Unto Haapaniemi to strike the kick off in the second half. Jani Kärkkäinen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aatto Lajunen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ristonmäki IFK. If Urpo Pasanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urpo Pasanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatto Lajunen having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Ristonmäki IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Asmo Hannula came free, but Samuel Blomberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Urpo Pasanen could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Aatto Lajunen however easily saved by the left post. Jani Kärkkäinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aatto Lajunen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ristonmäki IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vesa Tukio hit a great ball. Veeti Hevonkorpi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aatto Lajunen made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Urpo Pasanen sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Urpo Pasanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC HaNor booed when Ristonmäki IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskari Niskala didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC HaNor's Aatto Lajunen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC HaNor from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Jani Kärkkäinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aatto Lajunen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urpo Pasanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aatto Lajunen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jani Kärkkäinen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aatto Lajunen. That made the score 2-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ristonmäki IFK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC HaNor.
