The audience was convinced that Uoti Mäkinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmo Marttila was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Risto Markkanen in the 25th minute of play forced Onterhuhta's goalkeeper Osmo Marttila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uoti Mäkinen made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jani Karjalainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onterhuhta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jani Karjalainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teijo Kamppuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Risto Markkanen in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osmo Marttila, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uoti Mäkinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Onterhuhta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aulis Kallioniemi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Onterhuhta's Osmo Marttila got control of the ball when Risto Markkanen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Onterhuhta's Aulis Kallioniemi got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of PaskalajiFC booed when Onterhuhta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jani Karjalainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
