Valto Paaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvesteri Koivunen in the 18th minute. Pekka Känsäkangas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jalmari Pietilä didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partsinmaa FC. Jalmari Pietilä was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lari Kapanen charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lari Kapanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Malminkartanon PeTo:s Jalmari Pietilä showed great skill when he stopped Hannes Räikkönen:s penalty.

The wind increased when Hannu Nybacka made the kick off in the second half. If Ilkka Tervo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Malminkartanon PeTo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aki Oksa hit a great ball. With his leg Jalmari Pietilä managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Partsinmaa FC's Elmer Malinen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valto Paaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvesteri Koivunen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvesteri Koivunen struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Valto Paaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malminkartanon PeTo. Valto Paaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannu Nybacka in the 67th minute of the match. Elmer Malinen in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jalmari Pietilä, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elmer Malinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Partsinmaa FC played a much better game than Malminkartanon PeTo and deserved their victory. The Malminkartanon PeTo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
