Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sulho Askolin's late challenge caught a Haapakylä's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sulho Askolin helped the player get up and apologised. Ilkka Tervo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raino Karjalainen having to interfere. If Elmer Malinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raino Karjalainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmer Malinen in the 13th minute. Einari Ollikainen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Raino Karjalainen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hannes Räikkönen. Haapakylä's Raino Karjalainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilkka Tervo in the 22nd minute of play. If Taavetti Tarvainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Vilho Nevanlinna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valto Paaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahvo Ruhanen charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahvo Ruhanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Haapakylä's Tahvo Ruhanen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Partsinmaa FC's Hannes Räikkönen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Haapakylä. Ilkka Tervo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Raino Karjalainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes Haapakylä's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hannes Räikkönen who took care of the corner kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilkka Tervo was the one to do the kick off. If Taavetti Tarvainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Elmer Malinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raino Karjalainen. Haapakylä's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elmer Malinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Elmer Malinen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Raino Karjalainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partsinmaa FC. Taavetti Tarvainen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Haapakylä got a freekick which was hit by Tahvo Ruhanen. Partsinmaa FC's Elmer Malinen got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilkka Tervo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raino Karjalainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Haapakylä got a freekick which was hit by Tahvo Ruhanen. Raino Karjalainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmer Malinen in the 64th minute of play. When Partsinmaa FC's Ilkka Tervo in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Raino Karjalainen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Raino Karjalainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkka Tervo in the 70th minute of the match. If Pekka Känsäkangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raino Karjalainen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilkka Tervo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Elmer Malinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Kuisma Kangasmäki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haapakylä's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Partsinmaa FC the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Haapakylä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuisma Kangasmäki to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rdth minute of the game Elmer Malinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haapakylä's Raino Karjalainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elmer Malinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raino Karjalainen having to interfere. Elmer Malinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Raino Karjalainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Ilkka Tervo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raino Karjalainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Haapakylä's zone, Elmer Malinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raino Karjalainen came out of the goal and Elmer Malinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Partsinmaa FC had played much better football throughout.
