Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Tuomas Halminen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Tuomas Halminen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuomas Halminen in the 12th minute of play forced Lieranta IFK's goalkeeper Daavid Räsänen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lieranta IFK's Daavid Räsänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Lieranta IFK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuomas Halminen in the 15th minute of play forced Lieranta IFK's goalkeeper Daavid Räsänen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuomas Halminen in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daavid Räsänen saved Lieranta IFK from getting behind. Lieranta IFK's Daavid Räsänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuomas Halminen in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Aarni Ketola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Broberg IF's Alpo Lahti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daavid Räsänen. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. If Tuomas Halminen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oiva Uusitalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Untamo Nikko came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Broberg IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Untamo Nikko couldn't finish the play. Daavid Räsänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuomas Halminen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daavid Räsänen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tuomas Halminen went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tuomas Halminen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Daavid Räsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpo Lahti might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daavid Räsänen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alpo Lahti ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 minutes of play, Broberg IF's Samu Kankaanpää made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daavid Räsänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aarni Ketola came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lieranta IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aarni Ketola couldn't finish the play. Oiva Uusitalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Seppo having to interfere. Tuomas Halminen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daavid Räsänen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alpo Lahti's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Tuomas Halminen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Tuomas Halminen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daavid Räsänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daavid Räsänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuomas Halminen in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Alpo Lahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Broberg IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
