Jalmari Pietilä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Gustafsson in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Samuel Laiho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Malminkartanon PeTo's Jalmari Pietilä tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Laiho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalmari Pietilä having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, BARCELONA-EST's goal looked a bit too open when Sylvesteri Koivunen came free, but Atro Skyttä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Malminkartanon PeTo's Sylvesteri Koivunen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atro Skyttä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, BARCELONA-EST's Saku Järvensivu got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannu Nybacka in the 18th managed to get into a good position. After 42 minutes, Pentti Saksinen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARCELONA-EST and the Malminkartanon PeTo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atro Skyttä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannu Nybacka in the 51st minute of play. Jalmari Pietilä took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Timo Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Aki Oksa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Malminkartanon PeTo got a freekick which was hit by Sylvesteri Koivunen. Timo Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jalmari Pietilä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Malminkartanon PeTo's Hannu Nybacka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylvesteri Koivunen during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Malminkartanon PeTo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvesteri Koivunen to maneuver through the defense. Jalmari Pietilä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Laiho in the 87th minute of the match. Kustaa Paukkunen charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kustaa Paukkunen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Samuel Laiho managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARCELONA-EST's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Laiho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jalmari Pietilä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BARCELONA-EST had won after a very even match.
