Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tero Olkkonen got the match started through his kick off. When Tero Olkkonen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sulkulahti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tero Olkkonen couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sulkulahti's goalkeeper Aatami Kemppainen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Ilkka Tervo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aatami Kemppainen, 1-0. Aatami Kemppainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkka Tervo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sulkulahti's Aatami Kemppainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilkka Tervo in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Sulkulahti got a freekick which was hit by Einari Paajanen. Elmer Malinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aatami Kemppainen having to make a save. When Partsinmaa FC's Ilkka Tervo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sulkulahti's goalie prevented a goal. Tero Olkkonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Partsinmaa FC booed when Sulkulahti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atro Ojala didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pekka Känsäkangas during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Partsinmaa FC got a freekick which was hit by Pekka Känsäkangas. If Tero Olkkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmer Malinen got free with Aatami Kemppainen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elmer Malinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aatami Kemppainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Sulkulahti's goalkeeper Aatami Kemppainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmer Malinen. Aatami Kemppainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkka Tervo in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilkka Tervo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilkka Tervo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aatami Kemppainen saved Sulkulahti from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Partsinmaa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! After 64 minutes of play Partsinmaa FC's Pekka Känsäkangas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Partsinmaa FC's Pekka Känsäkangas got a free kick in the 65th minute. Valto Paaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tero Olkkonen in the 67th minute of play. Jorma Kuusiniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Valto Paaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aatami Kemppainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmer Malinen in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Sulkulahti's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Malinen came free, but Aatami Kemppainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilkka Tervo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Aatami Kemppainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partsinmaa FC. In the 95th minute, Elmer Malinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
