Kimmo Uusiniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niuhala NH's Kimmo Uusiniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmi Uotila in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joonas Uusiniemi in the 22nd minute of play forced Niuhala NH's goalkeeper Kimmo Uusiniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolai Rahikainen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kimmo Uusiniemi. Niuhala NH's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anselmi Uotila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kimmo Uusiniemi was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 53 played minutes Niuhala NH got a freekick which was hit by Urho Korkeakoski. After having played for 55 minutes, Urho Korkeakoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niuhala NH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urho Korkeakoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tuuri IFK's zone, Paavali Salo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Lagerblom came out of the goal and Paavali Salo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Urho Korkeakoski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niuhala NH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Niuhala NH's Paavali Salo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joonas Uusiniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kimmo Uusiniemi having to interfere. Otto Lagerblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paavali Salo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Urho Korkeakoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Otto Lagerblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Niuhala NH fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tuuri IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
